Clover: Sue Cosplay

This cosplay is from one of my favorite short manga series, Clover by Clamp! I decided to cosplay as Sue! I really adore this character. And although all her ourfits are elabrate and beautiful, this one really caught my eye. This one might be considered simple compared to her other designs. It thought so too, but boy, was I wrong! Since it is quite apparant that there is no under material to this lace dress, I didn't really want to expose myself quite like this, so I decided on nude material under the lace! =D

This dress took seven different kinds of lace and some serious amount of pacience on placing them all together. There is some minor things that I wasn't too happy with but the over all result came out nice! =3 The wings and bird was made in two seporate nights. Both delicately hand made by me. I was scared for my wings walking around Comic Con but they servived! I couldnt find seimilar shoes to the ones in the picture at a decent price so! I found really adorable button-up boots instead. they looked like something Sue would wear anyways and they went with the outfit quite well! All and all this costume was fun, and I'm happy with the way it turned out too! Thank you to the people who DID reconize who I was! Your true clamp fans!!!

About this Costume: wings and bird hand crafted by me and 7 different kinds od lace went into making with dress!

Purchased items on the Costume: wig (cut and styled by me), gloves, gaurder, and boots.
