( my original drawings/renders of the costume before I made it. )

This costume is based off of Clamp's Art book for Card Captor Sakura exclusive! So if your familiar with these characters, Sakura and Tomoyo, they do not wear these outfits in the manga nor anime. I chose to do Sakura from this art and my friend, Aurora did Tomoyo. Debuted at Comic Con International 2009 and Anime Expo 2009. This Csotume was quite a challenge and got pretty pricey. But overall I'm very pleased about this costume! Enjoy!

About the Costume: Let's start from head to toe shall we?
(For the Sakura Costume~) As you can see from the original clamp art, to the drawing, to the
actual costume you can see the hair deco changed quite a bit. Reason why? is becuase the wig I choosed for sakura wasn't long enough to actually make the bun knotts that sakura wears in the clamp art. In the drawing I was thinking of making odango covers for the illusion for the buns being there. Then I decided to do flowers to substitute that whole thing! Next, the clamp winged broach is hand crafted by me. And the pattern for the entire coat is also made/designed by me. Alot of stiff lining was required when making the coat collar and panels that hang from front to back. All sewn by me. ALL of the rope trim on the coat was hand-sewn. The skirt hand painted for the designs. And the shoes were purched at local shoe store, originally they were canvas robe woven wedge shoes. I re-painted them, added some more robe, and made another clamp winged broach for the shoes.

Purchased items on the costume: Wig (wig styled by me), chinese clasps, leggings, and
Shoes (they wear re-painted by me.)
